ArtNet is a UDP protool that allows us to controll lights (DMX,RGB LEDs,..) via ethernet network. This simple Pure Data patch (ArtNet-DMX.pd) works as ArtNet-DMX controller. It constructs the ArtNet UDP packets (see specification) and sends them to our ArtNet Node.

PCAP (for PD) is a PD network sniffer, based on libpcap , so the use of this external is similar to use tcpdump to sniff the network with PD.
